Hi, my buddy and I are planning on hittin the usual spots for silvers out of Shilshole this upcoming Sunday and I was wondering if anyone has been out lately and if they have had any luck?? I hear they are slowly moving in but I'm not really sure how good it is yet..

Close but not quite time, I would give it another
2 weeks or so. Fished last sunday and got 2 very little small silvers not even worth keeping. Good luck. Better luck down in south sound or up north for catch and release of kings w/ possable silvers in between. Good luck and have fun!

Ditto that Fishslayer.
I have gotten lots of "baby" silvers at West Point. There are still quite a few Kings running through there to spice up the action, but CNR is the only real game there.........

Check the report I posted yesterday. Some silvers are beginning to show but not in great numbers yet.

Exclussive for WashingtonLakes.com anglers! Meadow Point turns on RED HOT for silvers. eek
Yup, fished this morning and limited with my friend by 9am. Plus spoke with an angler at the launch who said yesterday was just as good. They were bright silver hatchery fish. See my report for full details.

Carl,

Meadow Pt. is the first point north of the Shilshole Marina. It is closed to salmon fishing inside a line from Meadow Pt. to West Point. Hope this helps.

Fished both points from an hour before high tide until dark, this evening. Tried hotspots with hoochies, herring, and a coyote spoon. Trolled cutplugs behind four and five ounce sinkers. We lost one shaker blackmouth at the boat. Never saw a net out. The morning minus tide really filled the water with weeds and grass. Guess we missed them this time. On the positive side: the weather was beautiful, the water was perfect, we had the boat ramp to ourselves, and the thirty-five year old Merc started on the first pull. Glad to hear you found the fish, Mike. Thanks for the report.
