Fished the Snohomish River at Thomas Eddie today and caught a real nice 8 pound Silver. Boy was that one heck of a thrill. Just before I was gonna leave I put on a #3 brass blue fox and got it on the 2nd cast.

NICE GOING!!! Congratulations!!! laugh laugh laugh

Now for the $100,000 question: How did you get there? I heard Fred locked the gate at Douglas Bar, or did ya fish just above his place.

I didn't know there was a gate at Thomas eddy.

Now I know why I don't like to fish on weekends. Where ever there is a access point to the river there are so many cars there, there is no place to park. But if you did find a place there would be no room on the river.

I do have one thing to ask. That access point off of the Tualco Road. Why is there a electric fence there,I though that it had access thru that farmers property. Had bad dealings with electric fences.

I was bummed to hear about the increase in what Fred is charging. I love to fish the holes above Thomas Eddy but only tend to fish it a copuple tmes in the fall. Hard to justify $55 for 1-2 fishing trips.
You must have fished on the public road stretch? -that area can't be blocked off, it's a county road. Isn't the fenced area the road that goes to the baot launching area?
