I saw lots of carp in the creeks\wasteways and in the Potholes lake several weeks ago. Big fellas. Going back there in a few days to try for some of the big walleye and 20" trout that are there.

UK,
You made it. I don't know anything about Moses, but I know about Potholes (which happens to be connected via the Crab Creek spillway). I would try calling Mardon Resort (they are on he web) which is located at the South end of Potholes Reservoir. They have accommidations, rental boats with engines, tackle and all the advice you will need to fish that lake. I don't know about carp fishing, but fall is an excellent time for large trout, bass, other panfish. Walleye fishing is another option. Good luck and let us know how you do. Also, your timing here in Seattle is perfect. The silvers are starting to show in numbers and local fishing should be great for the next couple of months.

If you are looking for Eastern Washington Carp you might also want to try Banks Lake (near Coulee City). A carp fishery (using fly fishing methods) has developed there over the last few years, casting to the carp on the flats from shore or in the boat.

Good luck and enjoy your visit!

Closer to home you could try Green Lake in Seattle. I have heard that carp fishing can be really good there and you don't have to go so far.
