What it means is that the tea party whack jobs siphoned off enough votes for the Democrat to win...nothing more, nothing less....

Sure, a T-Party candidate--who just happened to have a long history of running previously as a Democrat--pulled conservatives away from a well-known republican candidate. Uh-huh.
Or, it was a referendum on the republican's budget plan. Even some elderly conservatives know when their own party is trying to fark 'em.

This is the same area that seceded from the Union during the Civil War and wasn't re-admitted until 1946. It's fvckin' Tea Bagger CENTRAL.And if you don't believe me and want to lay any money down saying I'm full of schit on this, step right up. As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 2,521 people, 906 households, and 759 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 543.5 per square mile (209.8/kmē). There were 925 housing units at an average density of 199.4/sq mi (77.0/kmē). The racial makeup of the CDP was 99.29% White,
In 1861, in the small hamlet of Town Line in upstate New York, 125 voters met and voted 85 to 40 to secede from the Union and join the Confederate States of America. ...on January 26, 1946, Town Line voted to officially join the Union. Even today, the local volunteer fire company has the words "Last of the Rebels" on their shoulder patch.

The combination of TeaBaggers and the Ryan budget proposal will be the death knell of Republican candidates in lots of places...talk about snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, if they wouldn't always try to take things so far they'd be in charge right now, and for the foreseeable future.

When the other side is making asses out of themselves...it's best to just keep your head down and let them...it won't fix Medicare, but politically it's a pretty damned easy call to make.
When given a choice between Ryan's plan, and doing nothing, it's pretty clear where the electorate stands...

It all boils down to this - I'm right, everyone else is wrong, and anyone who disputes this is clearly a dumbfuck.

So Democrats are resorting to fear mongering, huh?
They probably learned it's an effective technique from the GOP when they used it to get that doorknob from Texas re-elected.
Pot, kettle.........black.
It makes me want to puke watching the two major parties play games like this at the expense of their constituents.

Right behind everyone of us with a bottle of lube. Neither bunch of tards gives a rat's backside about us. They are high on the power and money they are ripping off us. It's been that way for a long time and will not end soon.

Ah DS it has always been around, using fear that is. The big jump in my lifetime was the nuke mushroom cloud TV add that the D's used on Goldwater. Want to read ugly go back to Jackson. Now that election hit a new low that has not been equaled since, but the D's & R's are trying to catch up the best they can.
