No joke todd, there's plenty of people in prison for m/j posession for years and years, that's tax money that can be used to hire teachers or give them a damn raise!

I wonder what the number of teachers that got cut due to no $$ for education is, or the number of drug education courses got cancelled because of funds going to keeping first time m/j offenders is?

Hell after dare in elementary school, they had some kids (16-20 year old) that were convicted of drug crimes come to classes and tell us about how shitty the drug life is, after that I knew I didn't wanna be that guy up there crying because my future is effed from chasin the quick buck, I don't even know if dare is around anymore. Yes dare showed me what drugs actually are, but the program also told me how to avoid drug fu&%s in the first place

$ should be spent on drug awareness and rehabilitation. not the DEA. hell, all you need to do is show the kids pictures of tweekers teeth. that is enough to make anyone's skin crawl..

as far as schools budget cuts. the districts in the greater portland area are facing 20% of their staff getting the boot....... does not help class sizes that is for sure

It's become BIG business and has a huge machine behind it. Lots of agents to protect and they all want their pensions so this is a colossal uphill battle. Judges,lawyers,jails,etc,etc, once again about the mighty dollar and we will all suffer because of it.

So why then would people vote for Trump? He is the epitome of sh!tting on the less fortunate. Look up how much the health care industry gave in donations to the 13 pigs that rewrote the new health care bill. I hope people are waking up to what a mistake it was putting him in office. I said it before, most of the people that voted for him are the ones that will suffer the most. Him and his band of Nazis are about one thing MONEY! How much of a tax break are you getting?
