Funny line, that one. I've been annoyed at being held up by motorhomes on the road far more times than I've been slowed down by cyclists.

And that says a lot.

You take the worst drivers in North America out of their Priuses and Subarus put some faggy spandex (covered in corporate logos that don't even sponsor them) on them with a gay little mushroom hat, and give them a bike and suddenly the worst drivers in the world are the worst cyclists in the world but with a smug, self-righteous sense of entitlement.

Now take one of these assfvcks and elect him Mayor of the region's largest city.

Pretty much sums up why WA state is such a backwards clusterfvck.

[censored], that hurts! I drive a Subaru, and my bike shorts are made of lycra or something that must be close to spandex. An out of focus picture of my bike helmet could look something like a mushroom I suppose. So via guilt by association I can't drive fer [censored], and I'm one of the worst cyclists as well. Thanks for the vote of confidence Irie!

Its kind of sad the intolerance we humans have for each other over somthing as rediculous as a bicycle...

I think its time for a sled/driftboat/banki thread

Yeah, I've got a jet boat, a raft, and I bank fished this weekend! Fishing is just an exercise in conflict management.

Anytime. laugh

Do yourself a favor and burn the spandex....

Unless you're gay then, well, I guess, you do what you gotta do.

They do make bike shorts that aren't like something right out of Richard Simmons' dresser.

I know because I own some for Mountain Biking. smile

Yah, but the DMV is where you go to get a drivers license, the DO*L* is where you go to get tabs, and licensing... so you are off on your point.

Also, the DO*T* is what pays for our roadway repair and upkeep etc.... I believe a BIKE qualifies as a mode of transportation??

So it seems to me cyclists should have to go to the DOL to pay their dues to the DOT for using the roads that we ALL pay for.

I too HATE the wannabe superstar street riders that take up the whole damn road and WILL NOT move over to let you pass. Chuckanut Drive, and the Ebey Island Flats, 2 places I frequently see this "type" of biker making dangerous decisions and taking up more space than is needed.

I have no problem with most bikers, the ones who obey the laws and watch their asses so that I don't have to do it for them.
