Has anyone out there ever check out Rockdale Lake off of I-90? It's listed on the WDFW website under fishing alpine lakes.

i have a cabin near there. small lake, some rainbows. did'nt ever do worth a crap, but there are some fish there.

Hmm, EG. So, like, about where is Rockdale Lake located and how to get there? How did you do fruitlessly fish it? Were you flicking flies or chucking bait? These latter things can make a difference.

i was chucking bait one trip, and then i tried fly fishing. i just started fly fishing so i didn't do crap because i am still trying to match the hatch. i did manage to nab a two pounder though. its located at the top of hyak ski area.
