Now that it is fall, the waters are starting to cool, and the fish are starting to feed to get fat for the winter.

What lakes are you killin'em at?

One word for ya Spencer spencer spencer.
It kicked ass last time we went. Lots of 12-15 inchers. And some cutthroat mixed in with them. We got 63 to the boat, all on flies and spoons.

EL,

Fished Lenore last week and it was steadily good. I flyfished the whole time and did well, but saw several people doing well trolling spoons. Most of the cutts were 3-4lbs., but one was 30 inches and an estimated 9-10lbs. As long as the wind stays down, Lenore is a great lake to fish this time of year. Remember the special regs on this lake. . .

Hey, while I am patiently waiting for a new gas motor for my boat I should go fish Lenore or some of the local lakes that don't allow gas motors. I do have an electric motor I can use. laugh

Fished Lenore two weeks ago w/ a buddy trolling and casting spoons. The first time the two of us caught and released 25 trout. The second trip.....38. Best fishing I've ever had on the lake.

Try around the islands on the south end of the lake. It should be worth your while!

If you need further info re. hardware tactics, let me know.

What about any lakes in the Clark county area? Are any of them productive now? I'm used to fishing the fall and summer and thats it. Year round is new to me. I want to hear about Battleground, Klineline, Lacamas.....

Hey Cheese,

you might check w/ Stacie Kelsey of WDFW. She is very helpful w/ info on the lakes in your neck of the woods, and posts here when she has new info, although haven't heard much from her lately. I bet you could call the Olympia or Vancouver regional office and get a phone number for her, or she might see this post an send you a tip or two. Good luck!

Easy, whats your email? I was in the kokanee this weekend!! Beautiful spawners in I believe the Lewis... We were on 503 coming home and we saw a sign to a hatchery. We talked to the guy running the place and he said it was legal to fish the river and showed us a spot that he said he hits every night. We probably released 80-100 fish between the 5 of us out there.
