It's a strange world, in different country she'd be stoned to death.

trial by media. no hard proof.

People watch too much C.S.I. & the like where hollywood shows that with the miracles of science that you don't need common sense to come to a verdict, that the overwhelming microscopic minutia will on it's own determine guilt or innocence.
The defense attty spun it to show that the prosecution needed this iron clad scientific proof otherwise Casey was innocent.
Come on for Christ's sake, the smell of rot in the trunk, a mom who doesn't report her only begotten child missing for over 30 days?....30 freakin days???????
Then hits the clubs partying just days after?
WTF?
I was sold on a guilty verdict on those acts alone.

There was a suspicion in my mind of molestation of Casey by her father however.
Did you see the seething hatred in Casey's eyes towards her father George?
Could she possibly hate her father badly enough to hurt him to the bone by killing his granddaughter?
Those questions really had no relevance to the charges regarding the murder in my mind though.

Were these jurors the same folks that had such a probem with the hanging chads back in 2000?

I figure she will go the way of Amy Fisher and go into porn as she is not likely to find other employment.

What really is an eye opener for me are the countless number of kids who currently are trapped in a home life where Mom and or Dad are much like this poor excuse for a human. No regard for human life, and no accountability or fire under the ass for time to buck up time and be a parent. One of the guards in the courtroom standing near Casey Anthony almost looked like she was going to pull her piece and hurry up the process for the likely bullet in the head this bitch has coming.

To quote Method Man:

You have to wonder how many of the jurors saw dollar signs as soon as they realized which case they were being selected for.

I guess if any of you guys come up against a murder charge you'd want me on the jury

How did she die? I don't know.
When did she die? I don't know.
Why did she die? I don't know.
If perchance the prosecutor was able to answer any of the above questions which they couldn't the next question would be.......
Who murdered her? Oh the mother???? We think????

Just a couple of questions I would expect the prosecutor to be able to answer before I'd vote guilty.

Gross negligence: Guilty
Messed up mother: Guilty
Messed up family: Guilty
Whackjob: Guilty
Murder: Not Guilty

This one's on the prosecutor not the Jury.

But then again I tend to think with my brain and not my emotions so I wouldn't make a very good juror
