I have a spare fur blender that I'll give to the first newbie fly tyer that wants it.

My preference would be someone on a budget that wouldn't normally get this for themself... and starting out at fly tying.

I found this blender on sale and picked it up for Trout Master. Turned out he already had one and didn't need it.

.... still have that dubbing blender... I thought it would be spoken for by this morning unless some of the messages I cleared out with what I thought was obvious SPAM titles were really requests for the blender.

Going to give away something free and nobody wants it. Now that is strange. If I did that sort of thing I would of sent you mine address. But me and dubbing don't get along.

Never tied a fly but would like to start tying my own jigs for Steelhead. Is this something I would need? I am clueless on flies?

only if these flies would have furry dubbed bodies.... leadhead jigs are more marabou and chennile.

Rats might make good dubbed bodies after the fur was sheared from them. Know anything about ...... rats...?

I have heard they are fun to hunt

Although I prefer mice for tying, their white fur is easier to dye into colors like pink,red or blue for tying jigs.

Actually after the hunt they come with some of the white fur already dyed red
