Thanks for looking. I am getting a new canoe on Saturday and would like to test it out on a nice lake within an hour or so of Seattle. I have only fished Rattlesnake and Pass lakes in WA. Rattlesnake is not open year round and Pass may be a bit too far for that day.

Any other good lakes nearby. Not too crowded, fairly small and produce decent trout?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, HD

Ballinger, Bitter and Haller.... My guess is only Ballinger has trout in it right now.

Oh... Flowing up by Snohomish too.

Green Lake was a favorite haunt of mine when I lived up there. What kind did you get?

Old Towne Guide 160. Never thought about Greenlake, is it worth the try?

I lived near 46th and Stone Way for a year, and I caught fish every month of the year.
