Took my first Bass trip of the season this morning on a small year round local lake. Hooked 8 and landed 6 from 2 1/2 to 4 pounds. Lost 1 bigger fish and saw a large one about 8 pounds. 1 on a jig n pig and the rest on a 3 1/2 inch watermelon tube on a 1/16th oz jighead. Water temp was around 52 degrees.

Lake Washington is slowly pickin up on the smallmouth too.

nabbed a good one over here on a 4 inch junebug senko on saturday in my buddies back yard. bass boats everywhere also around the lake. so the buzz is starting to happen.
