If somebody is writing or editing books for a living I'd damm well expect them to know some grammer. Thats like a guide who says he's good at the oars, knows how to cure up eggs, but can't tie his own knots.

And its not the grammer, its the reading level that leds me to complain. Do stupid people really buy books? I wouldn't think so, so why should I have to read books written for 3rd graders? I already "See Dick fish" and "Hear Jane whine" almost everytime I hit the water. I don't need to read about it too.

Just kidding, mostly.

I think a fishing publication can use big words and still sell copies. I like Salmon & Steelhead Journal for that reason. They use big words like 'excursion' and it hardly scares anybody except a couple people in Enumclaw, and Larry from Yelm.
