Even though it was during the last hour of the last day....a stabbing and shootings took place at the NW Washington Fair in Lynden. Police say it was gang related, and arrested a 15 year old boy.

Will the people in the North (Whatcom) County finally come to terms with the fact they have a gang problem?

This seems to happen when you hire cheap immigrant labor from South of the border (Look at what has happened to Grant County, or Yakima). The sons and daughters band together into 'gangs' to protect themselves from the local bullies and eventually organize into affiliated gangs like the Nortenos or Sorenos.

Lynden has lost it's innocence....

I've lived in Lynden since I was 8 and I must say I was shocked to hear when it went down.
My sister was there with her family and my nephew who is 7 the crime scene and was seriously freaked out!!!

Whole thing is just SAD !!!

It's not the cheap labor it's the fact that Yakima is a drug running hub especially for black tar heroin. From there the distribution goes to other states and Canada.
