Are you lucky, or good, or both??

We had a good guide, Clancy Holt. One guy in the boat did get skunked. I guess it was pretty slow in general that day.

The best part, now I know how to fish that fishery.

I wondered how you landed on top of the fish first time out. That doesn't usually happen, unless one is lucky.. and when they're good at the same time.....

How much does this trip cost per person? I'm interested....sounds like it's a real good way to get a jump start for the "how to's" of springer fishing.

The guided trip was $165 / person. All you do is show up. The guide has all the tackle. You bring lunch and drink for yourself. The guide will usually have hot coffee. Dress WARM!

If you want to learn a fishery why not learn from the pro's. That is why I paid the money.

That's the cheapest way of doing it. I signed up with Big Wally's for a June trip to Banks Lake. Figure it will be lots cheaper than the standard "hunt and peck" method of learning a new place.
