I have only fished the lake once but have camped their many times. If you launch at the ramp at the park on the south west end just above the dam. Head about halfway accross and start heading up the lake trolling. you can go a long ways up. About half way you will start seeing stumps and trees to your right . It can get pretty shallow in a hurry. Stay just off the snags in about 30 - 40 feet of water. I marked a lot of fish on the finder at this depth. Then I would come back along the far shore and make a big loop. We got fish everywhere they were scattered for the most part. About half were squaw fish but some nice trout . We used wedding rings with a worm. Down riggers down 10 feet.

use the squawfish for bait for the tiger muskies. The muskies were put in to control the squawfish population.
