Awesome shots. Great place to work, but damn hard work. Thanks from all of us!
I envy you seeing a wolverine. I have seen just about every big critter in the NW woods, but never a wolverine.

I appreciate seeing the world from completely different perspectives and wondering how my life could have played out differently...
Mingo's Abu's BS's Mr Vedder's etc.
Thank you ColeyG for a glimpse of what I will probably never see for myself and couldn't imagine otherwise. I suspect there is considerable sweat equity involved but your images are a gift.

More than welcome sir.
Sometimes it is easy for me to take these settings for granted. Sharing with those that don't get to see and experience such things on a regular basis is a great reminder of how special some of the places that we (the collective "we" that is) get to wander really are.
Thanks for the kind words. Not much effort in the end really, and more often than not I wind up feeling as though I should have put more in.

Really good stuff (as always), Coley. That is a damn good looking, coyote. That wolverine was probably a mountain beaver?

...The Wickersham Wall and Karstens ridge, etc.
Makes me wonder if that is named after the same Wickersham that was an early explorer in the southern part of the Olympic Mts. How cool would it have been to be able to roam where nobody had been before, even the Indians were afraid to roam into some of these places... The Denali Wickersham was Judge James Wickerham who, in 1903 with two partners, made the second attempt to climb Denali via the now named "Wickersham Wall." They reached a point at approximately 10,000' on the north aspect of the mountain, stopping a mere 13,320' from the top...almost made it! Joking aside, in those days, just getting to the glaciers was a multi-month endeavor and their effort was fantastic for the time and setting. Nice office you got there, Coley!
Sg The foothills are beautiful, especially this time of year, but the more mountainous parts of the park will always be my favorite.

Exactly. Keep the food and a few drugs and IV solutions from freezing.
