Does anyone have any info on channel cats in harts lake?
How long have they been in there?
How big are they?
are they hard to catch?

Any info would be great

Not sure how long they've been in there.
Evening time seems to be the best for them using night crawlers , chicken livers. The biggest one I've caught there is only about 2lbs but I've seen a couple in the 6 - 7lb area!! I havent been out there in about a month but the algea bloom was starting up and its only gonna get worse as the summer goes on!! Good luck!!

i fished for channels there last friday night from 9:30 till 3:30 am, and didnt even get a bite!!, but it was fun, talked fish stories with a few peeps..had a fire to keep warm..if you do any good , let us know..

When do the crappie start biting at harts? and were do you fish for them in terms of deep or shallow water? Structure by the bank or deep structure?

Crappie should be coming on any time now. Small perple jigs under a slip float worked in the past there. they were in 8 - 15 foot of water suspended. I always had good luck in back right corner if you were look out from the launch.
