Hello there I’m knew to the Seattle area and am looking for a place to go camping at. I would like to find a lake that’s not too far away. I would prefer someplace on this side of the Cascades that can be driven up to as I am in a wheelchair and like to go camping and fishing at the same time and don't want to go way out of my way. I want go camping someplace that pop I don’t half to stay at a campground or pay to camp. If anybody could help me out or give me any ideas of where I could look more that would be much appreciated as I would like to camp in the next few weeks. Thanks much for your help. laugh what

The Washington Dept. of Fish and Wildllife published a great pamphlet a couple of years ago on disabled acces sites. I think some of those may have also included camping places. You might want to contact your local WDFW office for further. I think the closest one to Redmond is in Mill Creek - or check them out online.

Hope that helps!

Try lake Catcheless or Kachees up at the pass.
Drive up to the north end of the lakes and there are good spots to stay at like what you are asking for.
