Socialist Republic of Alaska. Despite the cries on the right of socialsim, redistribution of weath, and government handouts, Alaskan citizens annually receive a subsidy for simply living in Alaska. The hypocritical irony is astounding.

I wonder how many Alaskan Tea Partiers will reject the handout on principle...

My guess is that the number of Alaskan Teabaggers who refuse the subsidy is about the same as the number of Teabaggers elsewhere who refuse to accept their Social Security checks, unemployment checks, or enroll in Medicare.

It's only "ho hum" and "yawn" when it's so blatantly hypocritical, and on the part of the wingnuts...it's sharp and insightful when it's repeating Limbaugh or Hannity verbatim.

What is different when Washington uses timber sales as a funding source for schools, thus reducing the dollars paid in by residents. It appears that a portion of the states revenue from drilling is sent to residents. At least they dont divy up the crab landing fees.
