I have only seen a bit of him, but he appears to be articulate and quick on his feet, and a leader.

I wouldn't spend any time looking forward to any "beer summits" from him.

You can bet the Dem Gutter Grovelers, and Darcy Burner advocates ( ), are hard at work prepping for this potential upset.

Saying he "won't run" and "is not going to run" repeatedly is tough enough to overcome...but I saw a shot of him saying he won't run because he "doesn't want to be President", and lastly, that "I'm not ready to be President"...those would be tough statements to reconcile with "vote for me" at this point.

You'll see him in four years, though, I bet...but I also bet his "refreshing brashness" will be viewed as "what a fuckin a$$hole" by anyone that would run against him, from either party, and probably be pretty effective.

If the GOP can find someone who...

1. Isn't a total fruit loop
2. Can get the Tea Party behind them
3. Is trustworty
4. Isn't a religious zealot, and
5. Is viruntly anti-Obama

...then they'll have something to take to the voters...but they haven't got anyone who can get more than two or three of those characteristics straight, hence the already big field always looking to get bigger.

Unfortunately the only way to satisfy #2 is to violate #'s 1 and 4, right off the bat, so until the 'Baggers are relegated to the dustbin, the Republicans are fukked.
