Would like any info on where to fish for Salmon from the bank around the Silverdale Wa. to the coast, and what kind of set-up i would use..

I'd check out the local tackle shops and get some recommendations on where to fish. My guess is just about any river mouth (that's open) would be a good place to start.

I'd go to the local tackle shop for recommendations on what to use, what time of tide to fish... and the timing of that particular run.

I'm not up on fishing your side of the pond.... that's why I gave general information.

There are a few places to try: Point No Point, Pilot Point, and the beaches inbetween, and Marrowstone Point.

But basically anyplace that you can get out to the water, especially points sticking out into the main body of Puget Sound will be pretty good spots. Also river mouths are fine places.

Hood Canal should not be forgotten either, and the same rules apply.

Thanks for the good information . I'm heading out Saturday morning 30 Aug to Point- no- Point to watch and see what is working for other low cost salmon fisherpersons.
