Haven't fished the opener on the lower river, but, rest assure there were quite a few people out. Since I work in Renton I managed to go out for lunch and thought to go look at the river at a vantage point and by golly I just happened to see one of those endangered species called a "gamie" doing the same thing I was. Followed him for a while just to see where he'd go, but left me in the dust. Tell ya they're out there AND if you don't believe me just wait till some idiot get to doin' sumpin stoopid. Unmarked rigs and don't have exempt plates on em'. Only thing that gives them away are the extra antennas on the vehicles they drive and the uniform they wear. Heard of one person bringing one to the bank, but lost it. This is just the start........ beer

Tried for most of the day yesterday under the 212th St foot bridge using eggs, didn't have any luck. Perch were really bad and the tide in the afternoon wasn't low enough to flush them out. Strangely enough didn't see anybody pick up anything on a Blue Fox Vibrax either.

Plenty of nice fish were jumping, just not biting anything. Maybe the rain got them more interested in getting up river than striking at anything.

Well Ben from the thread I've read about the Muckleshoot tribe wanting to net 5 days aweek instead of 3, sounds like we better get our licks in while there's still fish. Went down to do some exploring and did see one nice one about 7# in a bag going to someones car at the community center. I'll give it a shot this Fri. and let you know how I do.
