...of how easily republicans are manipulated, and their disdain for Americans. Article.Memo.Notice that there's a plan to manipulate Americans into believing the President's job plan has no merit, yet there is no republican plan to put Americans to work. republicans have no concern with what America needs right now, they are only focused on one thing: regain control. They have nothing but contempt for America. Remember that memo when reading some of the posts here.

The huge savings from getting the troops out will be shoveled upstairs to the "Jobs creators", watch for it to fall through the cracks in the floor, shouldn't be more than two or three hundred years!

The Obama jobs plan is a POS ... The republican House has yet to introduce a meaningful serious jobs plan. And since you've really been into polls lately, here's something from Gallup: Americans Favor Jobs Plan Proposals, Including Taxing Rich

Published: 14 September, 2011. You better go find some more current news. It's a bigger dent than what the republicans are offering, which is nothing. Have you read the plan? Perhaps you can point out how they plan to create product demand, thus jobs.

Not to mention that Hank's quote is the title of a Huffington Post piece... the gist of which says the reason is that it doesn't go far enough! The first one is from some right-wing blog... so what do ya expect it to really say.... Next time you get in a google frenzy Hank... ya might try actually reading the articles that you C&P here.

"The GOP plans to curtail some of the regulations that will kill jobs and stop growth are being subjected to the demagoguery of the left. They say the GOP wants to force-feed lead and mercury to toddlers; pollute all of the water so you have to boil and filter it before you can drink it; make everybody have to wear respirators in order to breathe; give total control to Big Oil so we don't have to drive electric cars. Bullasheeta."
Hank,
Can you give me an example of any environmental protection/regulation that the current GOP supports?
I truly believe they do not give a chit about the long term impact of polluting corporations as long as the $ keeps rolling in....

Whenever you hear the GOP say "Kills jobs and stops growth!", you can be assured they are about to try and sell you a pile of schit that has nothing to do with jobs or growth.
It's right up there with "Job Creator", their current Orwellian doublespeak word of the day.
Fish on...

You missed one srlhead; And the average citizen gets to pay for it all. Wow, and to think there are more out there like Hank just stupefies me. I guess people vote against themselves to leave open that sliver of hope that they too could become one of those 1%ers, but I guess if you could believe that you can believe whatever drivel the GOP pukes up! The first merit is simply that it exists, as opposed to a serious jobs plan by the House republicans. After that, one could consider the points highlighted by Moody's analysts: - 1.9 million jobs would be added in 2012.
- The GDP would grow by 2 percentage points in 2012.
- The unemployment rate would drop by a percentage point.
- Tax cuts of $250 billion to small business and employees.
- Stabilize consumer and business confidence.
- Keep the U.S. from entering another recession.

Saving jobs is better than losing them. Try to think in America's best interest for a change. It's not all about you.
The president's plan is by no means a silver bullet, but it's a far sight better than what the republicans have offered up: nothing.
