Follow I-5 north till you get to Hwy 18 east exit (142 A). Follow Hwy 18 till you get to SE 272nd exit. Turn left off the exit and follow for about two miles and the lake will be on your right. There is a large city park, city park boat launch, and a WDFW launch. To get to the launches turn right on 154th just before you get to the lake.

I went down to that lake this mornin. I left my pale at about 6:15 cuz I didnt know how the traffic would be got there bout 6.45 and drove around that whole area for 15 mins tryin to find 154th ST, I even pulled over and asked a couple of people, one said they didnt know and the other said one took a bit and said it should be up a couple of blocks. Needless to say I didnt find 154th ST but I stopped at the park (which has gates that dont open till 7am so the driving around helped kill the time. There was about 10 people fishin the bank the guys fishing on the shoreline had a couple of bites but no fish and a couple guys using them clear bubles and a fly caught 3. There were fish jumping all around the park boat launch and I didnt see any boats out on the water. The guys who werent using the bubble/fly were using powereggs and bait with a long
4-5' leaders. in case anyone was wonderin the park is located down 152nd ST. They told me it was on the 8th. Good luck to anyone goin there

Sorry about the wrong street number. Didn't you see the sign that pointed to the boat ramp on Kent Kangley Rd? You can also enter the park via Kent Kangley Rd. and walk down to the dock.

If you are headed east on kent kangley go past the entrance to the park . Just down the hill the first light you see turn left or north. Their is a spa place and expresso and a gun shop called bear arms. Just follow that road around and you will see the small boat ramp it is pretty nice and all paved.

Interesting comment by Aintskunked about the powerbainters getting skunked with fish rising all over Meridian.
Guys with bubbles and flies got some!!!!
That phenomenon is common for recent planter lakes. Everyone now has a POWERBAIT fixation and that's stupid.

Reason: Recent planters have their own fixation on water under 6 foot deep. They were raised in concrete pens 5 foot deep. It does not occur to them food can be obtained deepre for a while.

If you are fishing powerbait in 15-20 feet of water within couple weeks of a recent plant you
are likely to be Amskunked!
