Fished the big lake today from 0800 till noon. I launched at Atlantic City and ran down to the mouth of the Cedar. There were about six other boats fishing that area. I saw two fish caught and another boat said they had a fish too. Me, I got skunked. Very windy on the water today.

We caught only one Rainbow down there Sat.. Was a bit windy..

But Sunday was a different day all together.. The bite really picked up Sunday am We caught 10 fish Sunday Kept two for Din..

I was in the tan 14' aluminum with red stripes.

I think one of my buddies was down there with his wife and another friend. He told me that there were so many fish there he couldn't beat them off with a stick. They used all sorts of gear including fly rods, and caught and released fish to 24".

Are the docks off of Luther Burbank Park on Mercer Island good fishing. Seen small bass swimming near shore there but never have tried fishing it?
