Since I have never fished this lake from a boat, how would a 12' tri-hul perform on Riffe?

Should be OK. Riffe is a BIG lake and the east-west winds can get going sometimes. Watch the weather and come in close to shore if the wind starts up. The pictures on the Featured Lakes section will give you an idea of the size of the lake. 52 miles of shoreline is a lot of lake!

I fish it all the time in a 10 foot tri-haul and it is fine. It can get VERY choppy/whitecaps but usually it is fine. Launch at the Mossyrock ramp for best sucess both in fishing and access.

Thanks. I will give my boat a shot. How many launchs are on the lake. I know of the one at M. Park and the one ofn the eastend. Any others?
