Is it only me but wouldn't it be nice if the state fishing regulations would come out earlier. There were a lot of changes last year to the early opening lakes on the Eastside. Some were March 1st others April 1st. Some on the general opener.

Also size and limit changes on a lot of spiny rays.

Just seams the paper pamplets arn't out until nearly May and if you don't have the Internet to check for special rule changes your asking for a ticket.

I know a couple older friends that have no Internet that just throw up their hands what

Talked to the guy in the sports dept of our local Store here and they told him end of May at the earliest once again. beathead

The reason for the lateness in the regulations is all due to the salmon/steelhead issues. Those seasons do not get set until late (I don't know why that is - but I know there is some specific reason). So, the pamphlet does get held up to the end of April. It should be available by the end of this month or first week of May.
