If I remember reading correctly a couple of the most ardent global warming bell ringers here just completed a few 1000 mile round trip fishing trip. Did you do it in an electric car or in your concern for global warming take multiple pickups? How did that help reduce global warming? Type your answer on your mostly i could care less about the environment Chinese computer or call me on your same care less about the environment Chinese made cell phone.

The answer to that only matters if you think that the choice is between pollute as much as you want, or live in a cave...which is the choice that the "non-reality based" crowd wants you to make.

At best your arguement is that you could have added 20 rocks but you only added 3. Matters not the road is still blocked with rocks.

That company over there may be the plating company for Rvrfshr spoons, hard to find a ore toxic proces than metal palting. Even with the cradle to grave laws . I doubt anything you could do personally, would even come close to offsetting those pollutants. Well one could rationalize it away in their own mind.
