Got back from Vegas where the price of gas averaged $2.15 for regular. Interesting question popped in my head when I filled up, how much impact will this have on my fishing this year.

We have not even hit the time of year when it starts to go up, so if we are starting at $2.00 per gallon who knows where it will end up this summer. Probably will cause me curb a couple of trips to Eastern Washington where I normally go.

What do you all think

Gas prices are definately a consideration when planning a long fishing trip for me. If you can get a couple of buddies to go in on gas with you long trips are a little easier on the pocket book.

It already put a damper on my fishing as I'm looking at all the lakes close to my house now . As to I never fished them because they were to close. I know it doesn't make any sense but I never do.
