Used to be, but that was 35 years ago when I fished it.

There are still brown bullhead there. We see them when we do the warmwater surveys. They have even been catching channel catfish. Seems the bullheads like the area near our boat ramp.

The boat ramp near the Moose Lodge, or the one on the north side of the lake?

The boat ramp near the Moose Lodge is the new one. Ours is the older one up the road on our access site. Where the parking is across the road. Next to the Wildlife League building (we have meetings there sometimes).

You know the turn-out just up the road from that boat ramp? It's where most of the people like to fish from the shore because you can park alongside the road? In the evening, that is where I usually find people catching bullheads - but in the summer when the water temps are a lot warmer.

Had the opportunity to have one of the guys show me how he skins them. Way to weird for me!

Yes, I know exactly where that is. I've fished there and bagged some rainbow from that spot. Thanks a bunch. I really appreciate your help. The bite has slowed there for the trout and I'm looking for something else to target since it's right around the corner!
