Romney WILL be the nominee. That really isn't something up for debate unless you are living in a separate reality than most of us.

He WILL surge after the nomination.

We WILL pull in a lot of independents.

BUT

He WILL NOT get the necessary financial backing from the completelyinsaneChristiansect of the rightwing due to his Mormon faith. That will be his one downfall. Moderate Republicans should love him (other than the fact he so blantantly caves to the extremists in his party) but they failed to reign in the wackos in their own party so they've already failed.

Obama will be a 2-termer despite the hate.

Good call, KK. I just saw my first Facebook "War on Christmas" post of the year. So played out. Even Bill O got sick of that meme a couple years ago, right?

If God is choosing the GOP candidate, why is there more than one? God's gotta' know which one is best and has a flying chance to win. And if the GOP can't come up with any better "God chosen" candidates than we've seen, wouldn't this be sorta' proof that God not only has no sense of humor but actually hates America instead of blessing it?

I think it's pretty clear that in spite of all the angry assertions otherwise, the GOP is not God's party.
