Fished Sat morning, before weather chased us off. Only one fish caught, 2.5 lb. walleye off in the Dunes. Fished Crab Creek area but no luck, didn't see many anglers doing good in Crab Creek either. Better luck on Sunday morning with a 3 lb. 22" walleye and a just-legal 16" walleye, same area, up in the dunes. Tried Crab Creek again, only saw one legal caught.

Ron at Mardon thinks the fish are spreading out now, so you have to find them. Good luck to those going over this week-end.

Pics to follow when I get them uploaded tonight.

Did you do any trout fishing?

How are the docks coming along?

Hope the trip was good even with the weather.
Didn't have time for trout unfortunately.
The docks look almost complete, this Friday supposedly....
The weather was great considering.., surrounded by thunderstorms Sat. but not one touched us! The wind forced us off the lake early though. Alittle sprinkle Sat. night, Sunday was excellent!

not the potholes, but still eastern washington. I know that this is not a coservation friendly photo, and so feel free to flame away, however I spent one of the best weeks of my life last summer catching walleye. may be going back this summer. If anyone is interested in some freshwater fish and chips let me know, there is a campground about 30 feet from where these were caught, and yet no one tagets wallleye around there? must be the lack of magazine coverage or somethig I don't know

Could be because they fight a little like a waterlogged shoe.
The only reason I can see to fish walleye is........MEAT

Meat is right! Nothing tastes better than fresh caught walleye! (Can you tell I was born and raised in Minnesota?!)
