Did a quick search but to no avail. Does anyone know of any cats in the sno. county area. Got a buddy from Louisianna here who would like to hook into some catfish. Any help is appreciated

I don't think there are many/any catfish, but you could try the snohomish for sturgeon.

Might try reviewing the following:

http://wdfw.wa.gov/outreach/fishing/warmtbl.pdf

It list fish species found in most public waters in the state by county.

Gissberg ponds have Channel cats and they should be pretty good size. They were planted a few years back and it was not legal to retain them. The state wanted them to reach a certain size before they were able to be kept. I've read of people getting them up around 10lbs now that you can keep them.

Almost every lake in the area will have one of the species of Bullheads in it. I've caught them up to 14-16 inches, out of quite a few lakes.

In nearby Whatcom County, Lake Fazon is reported to have some nice sized channel catfish. Also, I heard of a 10lb. channel cat coming out of Lake Terrell last year. Both of these lakes are primarily a "boat show."
