Was over at the potholes area checking things out. Long lake and most of the lakes still frozen over but not enough to walk out on. Corral Lake, below Mardon Resort had some open water so I checked it out. Fished the bottom with powerbait but no takers. I was very sad to see all the garbage laying around. Same thing at Soda Lake.

So I decided enough is enough, I picked up several bags of garbage and cleaned the place up to some degree. For now on I'm going to take out more than I pack in, even if I didn't pack anything in. It's such a disgrace to see all these places I've known for 30 years getting abused. Lets all try a pick up just a little bit of the garbage that the "pigs" leave behind, and make a difference.

Join me this year to pledge and clean up some of garbage around your fishing holes.

Thanks all!

I know what you mean, it is really bad. I stayed at the potholes and soda for a week and the local "workers" would come in at night in their beaters and party for 4 hours and throw bottles in all directions even out into the lake. It just makes you want ot reach out and touch someone shoot
