Hey, if we don't get out and fish now there might not be any water left by summer!.......If you haven't been in the mountains yet, it's getting scarey. I'm already planning some hike in alpine lakes that are opening now. These don't normally open till mid June-July. I've been lax on my fishing reports this year. I'll try and fix that. Fish on!

When we drove over to Rufus Woods a few weeks ago the snow cover looked like late spring. Dry dry dry. But interestingly, the Kachelus reservoir was looking OK. I had expected it to be bone dry.
