Anybody got any good tips for cooking pan fish? I've never really fished for them and I'm going to be limited to an exhaust manifold for the most part so I can't do any battering or wild stuff like that. Any ideas would be great. Thanks

A good non fried method for me is simply perch with a little bit of butter and slivers of almonds. I suppose you could cook that on a exaust manifold.. i normally use the oven or microwave in a pinch.

We've always mixed a little pancake flower with Johhny's seasoning salt for breading and pan fried them like that it's quick and tastes great but I think you can boil them I know I've seen a recipe for poor mans lobster that might work in you situation.
