Snapped these guys in my yard...there were two other does, and a yearling fawn, too, but I couldn't get all six in the frame at once.



Always tons of does and fawns in the yard, but bucks are much rarer...there were two spikes together a couple of weeks ago, and a big four point down the street a month ago or so, but this is the first branched antler in the yard that I've seen this fall...and for a 2x2, he was a pretty girthy bugger.

My yard actually used to be part of an open GMU...then it went to shotguns only, then to archery...then to no hunting. I pretty much live in a small enclave of woods surrounded by subdivisions now.
