I was wondering if the crappie are spawning yet and if anyone has had any luck with them. I have heard Lake Cassidy is good.

Posted a nice report on lake Union the other day indicating the crappie are spawning there.

They are just starting to spawn since the full moon earlier this week. Caught over 40 this past weekend. Union, Washington, Cassidy, Sammamish, Sawyer, and Kapowsin are all getting hotter by the day.

Where are the Crappie in Lake Washington? What sort of conditions do they inhabit?

I spend most of my fishing time in the north-end.

Not to sure about up north. I fish south of 520 most days. Anyplace that has large underwater brushpiles will hold the crappie in L Washington. The sunken forrest (all 4 of them), UW stadium area, and most of the shallow coves on the east side hold crappie.
