I ALWAYS (no exaggeration here folks) see adults, drinking beer in the open, fishing Wapato Lake. Does anyone know if that lake gets patrolled by the proper authorities?

Yes it is a problem and here's why:

1. It's a park - no alcohol
2. It's a juvenile fishing lake - no adult fishing

so are these children drinking beer?

No the children were not drinking alcohol.

The adults that were fishing at the JUVENILE LAKE were drinking alcohol.

I doubt you will ever see a patrol in Wapato or any other park in Pierce county unless the a called. The have been cut to the bone on staffing and the criminals have figured that out. You can thank this wonderful state Govenor and the clan of thieves she appoints.

When did Wapato become a juvinile only lake? Nothing about that in the regs.

There are ALWAYS adults fishing Wapato Lake, Tacoma. I don't think anyone reads the regulations anymore. Sad, but somewhat true.

Hey Poacher Hater - I have called the WSP (when Wildlife is closed) to report the poaching...I think I will make a point of staying and waiting for citations to be issued...there really needs to be an example set at Wapato as it is a slap in the face to the RULES AND REGS to watch these people purposely fishing in an area where they know they can escape if need be. Maybe I will contact Wildlife and cc it to a lot of people - that always rattles cages and gets something done for a few seconds.

long time since I e-mailed you plus I forgot my pass word for the sight. Still after those perch? As far as wapato lake goes yes It Is supose to be no booze and for 15 years and under. I won"t even take my kid there, You think that the WSP or Perice county sheriff should be able to do some thing.

I'd love to see the people get nailed but I'd rather see the cops in that part of town going after other perps.
They can only cover so much and I'd rather see them going after all the tweaker thieves so people could start leaving something worth more than $2 out without it walking off.
