been looking for some basic abu parts but no where in PA sells them, got the number of a reel guy in PA but he said no go as well. nothing major just the little butterfly looking thing between the crank and drag and end nut and cap with screw (2 of them) right hand as i think the treads are different from left to right...

Ollie Damons in Portland treated me right. Abu at the time was out of stock on some parts I needed it took some time and regular complaining to abu. The gal I corresponded with at Ollie's was great, even though we were only talking about a couple bucks in parts I ended up sending another reel to them for other work. Wish they were closer.

Yep Ollie Damon's has pretty good stock and they are local to me.

For other Abassadeur parts I've used gilbertspaylakeinky (KY) and dadsoletackle (TX) on Ebay.

It helps to find and print out the schematic for your particular reel and know the part number that you want.

I've bought all kinds of little parts and pieces for my Abu's from Gregg's in Lake Stevens.

Ollie Damons I have used them a couple times. If those are the only parts you need try Bob Gooding at Olympic Sporting Goods Forks WA. He does some reel repair and likes ABU's
