Hey I'm mike and am in Lewis county, I am looking for people in the area and beyond that can help me with bass fishing. I thought I knew how to bass fish but I must be doing something wrong. Can anyone help me with tips and techniques on bass fishing? Any good spots to go? I have a pontoon boat so can hit most lakes and small ponds. I am also looking for anyone interested in a bass fishing partner in my area.

Welcome aboard!

I can direct you to some sites where you can get some good bass fishing information.

www.bassdozer.com - he has some great articles on how to fish practically every artificial lure in the Expert Articles section

www.billdanceoutdoors.com - a fishing forum where most folks a primarily bass anglers. my name there is islandbass

www.bassresource.com

Hope it helps! Too bad you live so far. I fish primarily for bass too but I go solo because none of my buddies fish and I am also relegated to the bank/shore/dock.

Thank you so very much for the links that you provided. I got some very very useful info. from them and really do appreciate it. I wen't to the first link you gave me and WOW what a load of info. I just started with the first lure and read up on it, wen't and purchased one today and headed to the lake.....6 casts in I had my first hit on that lake and i've fished it about 5 or 6 times, no more hits throughout the hour but on my way back to the dock....I had one hit me like a 747 and man it was on....or rather off.....I think i'll check my drag next time....i wen't to tighten the drag and WAMMO he spit it out...but man what an awesome feeling....Thank you again for you help I truly do appreciate it.....
