My bass fishing friend wants to try Lake Goodwin. Is there a ramp somewhere other than the State Park? If not when does the park open in the A.M.?

The state park is the only ramp. Don't know what time it opens.

Dawn to dusk is the official ramp hours but I think the gate is usually unlocked even when closed and you won't be hassled if you quietly open it in the morning. BTW tell your friend bass fishing has been pretty good but please CR cause they aren't planted.

Correction to my previous post...sign at the gate says it opens at 6:30 AM. Still think the gate is unlocked and people launch earlier.
