I am planning my annual fall trip to Lake Lenore the second weekend in October. However, I noticed driving by this summer on my way up to Banks and Roosevelt that the lake seemed very low and had a lot of vegetation growth.

Anyone fished it recently? Just wondering if the conditions I noticed have affected the Lahotians.

Thanks.

Hopefully that algea bloom didn't kill off the lake.Maybe the regional WDFW could give some info on the condition confused

Just got back from fishing Lenore last weekend. The fishing was good and getting better. The lake is 4 ft lower from farming irrigation and the weeds are plentiful. We mostly trolled nymphs in our float tubes and were pretty successful. If the wind dies down towards the evening, there's a good caddis, mayfly hatch that happens which gets those fish working the surface. This is great time of the year as there is virtually nobody fishing this lake other than a few locals.

Fished Lenore over the weekend. Fishing wasn't red hot, but it was steady at times. The lake is real low, as reported.
