Has anyone tried the Pautzke Krill formula? Heard some good things about it. Have not really used scents much. Little WD40 on plugs that's been about it for me laugh

Do you chum with 10-40 confused
beathead Let's go ahead and keep the WD-40 in the garage. There are lot's of better products out there. I'm sure they are kinder on the lake.

No I don't use WD40 for chums. Seen and heard about it sprayed on wiggle warts, hot shots and the like for salmon and trout ever since I've been fishing, over 35 years. I had read articles in Hunting and Fishing News about guides giving the bait a shot of WD40 over the years. I hardly use it, just asking about Krill formula, JEESE.

I'd say that unless you always walk or bike to the lake to fish, this probably isn't a good avenue to pursue.

Even forgetting the burn & pollution of getting to the lake, most people -DO- chum (in effect) with 2-stroke oil. The average guy with his 2-stroke motor puts an order of magnitude more oil in the lake every time they motor around. WD-40 may well be pretty equivalent (ecologically speaking) to the krill oil stuff.

Just saying.

Thanks Salmo_G. Thought about it long and hard, just isn't worth the annoyance. If you want to look at a website that's painful go to NW Fishing.com.

There is way more than of a problem than whats sprayed on a lure. Pollution and the way people treat the environment makes me sick. I've really tried this year to clean up the mess left over at lakes in Eastern Washington by all the slobs. I made it a point to clean up garbage where ever I went and fished this year. Who can judge the abusers; outboard engines that are poorly maintained, fisherman wading in rivers stomping through steelhead and salmon redds or all the lead and fishing line lost in the pursuit of fun. We all have to look at what it takes to just go fishing, it's a wonder there is anything left to go to. Nature, somehow has still let us hunt and fish in such a crowded environment, I only hope it can last.

Thanks for the rant.

Loc: Tacoma Wa,
Don't get me wrong I personaly like to use rotenone on all my lures evil

Yes, we are all guilty of contributing to the decline of or envirnment. The best we can do is try and make up for the harm we do. As in I may fertlize my lawn, But I pack out more trash than I bring in, when I'm on the water. I volunter my time to rehabilitate samlmon steams and so on.

No ICfish, I have not used the krill formula. I do however use sent products. I know lots of time and money goes into developing these products and they do work. Some better than others.

I want to encourage the use of this BB to promote the outdoor lifestyle, and spread the information.

Salmo, it's good to see we have a WD-40 sales rep on the BB. Can you get me a discount? laugh

No harm was ment.

Loc: Tacoma Wa,
Yes, it comes from my head, that is full of information. Now if I could only string a couple of the thought together. I would be a real mental giant. I keep telling myself JUST FOCUS.

Never the less I take it, the two of you got what I was trying to say?

My other posts look a lot like this.
