there are some nice spots up along the middle fork of the snoqualmie.. mostly rustic sites (e.g. you gotta go get your water from the river and there arn't any picnic tables) but it's a real outdoor experience........ as I recall there's a bunch of these sites right where the taylor river dumps into the middle fork..... and if you drive up the taylor river to the end of the road there is some parking and a nice trail to go walking on....

check regs before fishing the snoqualmie though.. it's highly restricted... In fact I don't think it opens till 6/1 and even then it's cnr.... beautiful river though...

Be alert. There have been problems up there with meth addicts and meth labs. I used to fish there a lot, but have seen some very unsavory looking characters up there.
