So as I was over at Lone Lake fishing on Sunday, I talked to some of the locals out there...I was more then pleased with 5 trout in 2 and a half hours not even really fishing hard and all fish over 16 inches, but they were really pissed off with what the Game Department has done. They poisoned the lake to get rid of all the lily pads and some of the Brazilian Elodea, but bass and trout fisherman alike say that since they did that removal of those aquatic plants, the trout fishing has been horrible and the bass fishing has also suffered...Anyone know anything else about this I thought the removal of the plants were supposed to work does anybody have an idea on any of it?

Well, its like any change. The fish all need to re-adjust to a different environment. One without much cover. Im ssure it prolly meant some of the big uns with established territories were forced to go and find new homes and clean house on alot of smaller fish on the way. smaller fish that no longer had the benefit of vegetation cover.
