Richard Petty Driving Experience coming to Evergreen Speedway

Racing fans will want to circle the last weekend of June on their calendar, as the Richard Petty Diving Experience will be making its first ever visit to Monroe's Evergreen Speedway.

What is the Richard Petty Driving Experience? It's a chance for fans to ride along in, or even drive, a NASCAR race car. Professional drivers and instructors will be at Evergreen Speedway June 26-28 for fans and spectators to get up close, and maybe in, the cars.

This year is the first time RPDE has come to the Northwest. They host events at 22 other tracks around the country, including Daytona International Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Darlington Raceway, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Bristol Motor Speedway and Martinsville Speedway. So Evergreen is part of a pretty exclusive group.
