Documentary about the failure of our public school system.

I have had it on my list for a while and just got around to checking it out. Anyone else seen it?

The thing that impressed me the most, and I don't mean that in a positive light, is that "we" have more or less found both the problem and a viable solution, but can't connect the two. Almost unbelievable, but then when I consider "our" inherently lazy and self serving nature, it makes perfect sense.

I tend to not believe most things by default. Seemed like there were some bits of truth that would be fairly hard to argue against though.

Everyone should see it. Its really no different than becoming involved in fishing issues and working towards change. The teachers unions like what they have and its not for the benefit of the students. The same old complaints from business, parents, etc continue and the colleges have to teach high school math and english. With budget cuts, college degrees are getting scrutinized about the number of jobs that result from the programs.
