Trust me, no one on the left is sweating the Newster...and while he (along with the rest of the Clown Show) provide ample material for the comic arts, those on the left ought to be pumping Newt up and keeping him in the race as long as possible.
What type of ego does it take to know for an absolute fact that you can never win the nomination, yet use your limited time there to torpedo your entire party? Is it so that when Romney gets his [Bleeeeep!] handed to him in the general election that he can say "See? You should have voted for me!", and continue to stroke his own ego that way?

Imagine being a Steelers fan that made the trip to Denver for the wild-card game between the Steelers and Broncos. You sat there in the cold, watching your team struggle for three hours, only to tie the game at the end of regulation and give you hope … until Tim Tebow crushed all your hopes and dreams with one flick of his golden wrist. All you want to do is lick your wounds and get back home, where you can make sense of what just happened. You get to the airport, your head down, just wanting to sleep and drink the memories away on that long flight, but as you get to the gate, you're greeted with this:  i cannot believe an american carrier would do something to make their customers feel bad before being treated even worse once they enter the plane.
